CNRS Research engineer at the Biology Institute of ENS, Paris.

As a molecular biologist I am interested in how proteins function work and evolve, with a particular focus on molecular neurotransmission and membrane proteins. My research combines computational, biochemical, and cellular approaches to investigate protein structure–function relationships. Beyond fundamental biology, this work contributes to protein engineering, pharmacology, and the interpretation of disease-associated mutations.

Since 2020, I have led a research program investigating the molecular origins and evolution of the nervous system in metazoans over the past 600 million years
