I am an Associate Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in War Studies at the Swedish Defence University in Stockholm.

My research sits at the intersection of peace and conflict studies and quantitative methodology, with a particular focus on forecasting armed conflict, machine learning, and statistical methods for uncertainty estimation. I have contributed to major conflict forecasting initiatives including the VIEWS political violence early-warning system and the Societies at Risk project, both based at Uppsala University, where I completed my PhD in Peace and Conflict Research in 2022.

I have published in journals including Political Analysis, Journal of Peace Research, International Journal of Forecasting and International Studies Quarterly, and am the author of several R packages for conflict forecasting and statistical methodology. I am also developing an introductory textbook on R for students of political and conflict sciences.
