Dr. David Pearl’s research interests centre on the use of quantitative methods to study the epidemiology of zoonotic and animal diseases and enhance disease surveillance. These quantitative methods include multi-level statistical modeling and a variety of statistical techniques designed for the analysis of spatial and molecular data. His projects have involved infectious and non-infectious diseases in a number of host species including humans, cats, dogs, cattle, pigs, poultry, horses, and a variety of wildlife species.
