David Newell

David is Senior Lecturer within the School of Environment Science and Engineering at Southern Cross University.
His current research projects include investigations into immune responses of Australian frogs to the amphibian chytrid fungus, climate change impacts on montane rainforest frogs in subtropical eastern Australia, and the use of ecoacoustics to monitor the distribution and abundance of endangered forest fauna.
