David Etheridge is a principal research scientist with CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere Flagship. His work involves the long term changes in greenhouse gases and ozone-depleting compounds. He has led 8 field programs on the polar ice sheets, researching atmospheric composition change, climate change, and ice sheet dynamics. He is also investigating the possible impact on the atmosphere of energy technologies, such as coal seam gas and geological storage of CO2.
