- PhD Candidate at UQ School of Law, The University of Queensland
I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland's School of Law. My doctoral research focuses on critically examining the legality of military conduct in domestic security operations in Indonesia, particularly in the contexts of counterinsurgency and counterterrorism. The aim of my research is to develop a comprehensive framework that enhances national security while ensuring the protection of civilians both from domestic threats and potential military misconduct. In addition to my PhD, I occasionally serve as a teaching assistant for both postgraduate and undergraduate courses at the UQ School of Law. I'm also serving as Digital Content Manager for Centre for Public International and Comparative Law (CPICL). Prior to joining the UQ School of Law, I served as a bureaucrat in the Indonesian Ministry of Finance for over 16 years.
