Darrell Evans

(he/him/his)

Dr. Darrell Evans is a Human Ecologist, college educator, and sustainability professional focused on the ways in which people, institutions, and systems interact with the natural world. Evans holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation and a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management. He remains actively engaged in community service and contributes peer review to veteran-focused academic publications while serving on multiple committees, task forces, and advisory boards within and beyond higher education. Evans’ current research centers on developing theory-based and time-indexed analytical frameworks that examine ecological immersion and professional identity formation, visible veteran identity in later life, and doctoral inquiry in politically contested academic environments. In addition, he conducts independent research on unidentified anomalous phenomena, applying temporal–spatial correlation methods to publicly accessible archival and mission-based datasets to strengthen the evidentiary classification of anomalous aerial reports.
