- Principal Research Fellow in Population Mental Health, UCL
Darío (he/him) is a Principal Research Fellow in Population Mental Health at UCL's Centre for Longitudinal Studies and part of the leadership team of the ESRC Centre for Society and Mental Health at King's College London. His interests include social and generational inequalities in population mental health and wellbeing from an intersectional perspective; trajectories of population mental health and healthy ageing and their social determinants; and the gender inequalities in mental health and the mechanisms driving them.
Darío holds a Wellcome Trust fellowship focused on the use of quantitative approaches consistent with intersectionality theories on existing data to advance the understanding of social inequalities in youth mental health at the population level and across time and place (https://cls.ucl.ac.uk/cls_research/making-the-margins-visible/).
