My expertise is in international law, more specifically international human rights law and the international protection of refugees. I also research in the area of business and human rights, in particular in emergency contexts (including in the European refugee 'crisis').
Before joining academia, I worked with various international NGOs and as a human rights field officer in Afghanistan for the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
