Dr Danny Buckley is Director of Studies at Loughborough University. After more than 20 years in the automotive, fashion and sports sectors, he moved into academia in 2016. His research examines informal work, cash-in-hand labour and the regulatory pressures facing small service-sector businesses. He publishes both in leading peer-reviewed journals and in practitioner outlets that engage directly with policy and industry audiences.
