Danielle Heinrichs Henry

Dr Danielle Heinrichs Henry is a Senior Lecturer and researcher at Griffith University, holding a PhD in Sociolinguistics from the University of Queensland. She specialises in multilingual communication and literacy and is a registered teacher for Spanish, German and English as an additional language or dialect. She has been a Visiting Scholar at Phillips-Marburg, Leipzig University and Regensburg University in Germany. Currently, she is a Chief Investigator on a National Health and Medical Research grant exploring the role of community leaders in emergency communication. She currently holds a Natural Hazards Research Australia ECR Fellowship exploring multilingual communication about heatwaves.
