Research areas

Dr Magistro’s research focuses on ageing, mobility, frailty, activities of daily living, and active living. He investigates how physical activity and supportive environments can promote independence and quality of life in later years. He has extensive experience working in clinical and community settings, including with people affected by mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and chronic conditions, always aiming to translate research into practical strategies for healthier, more active ageing.
