Daniel Williamson

I am an Epidemiologist working in the First Nations Health Office within Queensland Health. I have over 25 years of experience working in a quantitative capacity supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health programs and services. I have collaborated on a number of Burden of Disease studies here in Queensland and have a specific focus on building the evidence base to support strategic policy development. I also have an interest in collaborative cross sector research and ensuring that health systems and researchers work together to inform evidence based public health policy.
