Daniel (they/them) is a practitioner-researcher with over fifteen years' experience working in HIV prevention, sexual and reproductive health promotion, and cancer screening. Daniel studied Arts and Law at the University of Melbourne before completing a Grad Dip in Public Health at Flinders University. In 2016, Daniel commenced a PhD at the ANU School of Regulation and Global Governance, looking at emerging organisations responding to HIV criminalisation and drug prohibition. They work part-time as the Learning Project officer at the National Association of People with HIV Australia (NAPWHA) and write a blog about HIV stigma and public health strategy called Bad Blood.
