Daniel Pfurtscheller

Daniel Pfurtscheller is an Assistant Professor at the University of Innsbruck with a background in Linguistics and Media Studies. His work centres on media linguistics, multimodal discourse analysis and visual communication. He is curious about the ethical, pragmatic and communicative dimensions of the present-day use of digital media. His work explores how digital media shape language and interaction, asking how different media formats and digital platforms shape what we say and how we understand it.
