Daniel Escanez-Exposito is a researcher in the Department of Computer Engineering and Systems at the University of La Laguna, where he earned his BSc in Computer Science (Euro-Inf accredited) in 2022 and an MSc in Quantum Computing from UNIR in 2023. His research focuses on the theoretical foundations of quantum computing and its applications to cryptography and artificial intelligence within the CryptULL group, through which he has participated in several nationally funded research projects and collaborations with industry and public institutions. He has contributed extensively to high-impact international conferences and journals, authoring numerous publications on quantum circuits, quantum cryptography, quantum simulation, and educational applications of quantum computing, in close collaboration with Prof. Pino Caballero-Gil. Additionally, he is an active invited speaker and has co-supervised several undergraduate and master’s theses in quantum computing and quantum cryptography.
