Danai Kontou

I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow in aquatic invasion ecology at the University of Leeds, working internationally on freshwater ecosystems and invasive species management. I completed my PhD in evolutionary ecology at the University of Cambridge, following a research internship with the Zoological Society of London. I hold a MRes in biodiversity, evolution and conservation from University College London and a BSc in Biology from the University of Patras, Greece, including experience with multiple wildlife conservation NGOs.
