Dan is a climate scientist at the University of Bristol, focusing on Tropical Cyclones in the southwest Indian Ocean. He is particularly interested the representation of these extreme events in climate models and what changes we could expect to the characteristics of Tropical Cyclones in the future.

He has been a student at the University of Bristol since 2021, where he first completed a Masters by Research with the Climate Dynamics research group, focusing on extreme temperatures over Africa. Dan has continued working with the group on African Climate and Tropical Cyclones during his PhD.
