Dan Dixon is an Associate Lecturer in English and Writing at the University of Sydney His areas of research include the philosophy of the reader-author relationship, the essay form, and American literature. His academic monograph, Reading Relations: How Authors Enter Our Lives, is forthcoming with The University of Iowa Press in December 2026. His debut novel, The Department, is forthcoming with UQP in March 2027.
