Damián González Beltrán

I am a PhD candidate in metabolomic epidemiology, specialising in ageing and the prevention of multiple chronic diseases. My academic background includes qualifications in nursing, family and community health, and epidemiology and public health. Our work aims to assess the prospective relationship between plasma metabolomic profiling and both healthy aging and multimorbidity in older people. We apply advanced epidemiological methods to large-scale cohort data to explore which metabolites can promote healthy ageing and reduce the burden of multiple age-related conditions.
