Cuthbeth Tagwirei has ten years of research experience in the social sciences and humanities. His work addresses the issue of power as it is experienced by those in the margins of society. Consequently, he has published more than fifteen peer-reviewed articles on the subjects of albinism, gender, race, xenophobia and class. His current work examines the location of marginalised peoples within the loop of poverty, disease and violence and how they negotiate survival in light of enduring social inequalities.
