Cristy Brooks is an Associate Lecturer of Interprofessional Health Sciences in the School of Health Sciences at Western Sydney University, and a Research Associate at the James Martin Institute for Public Policy. She has a PhD in Obesity and Chronic Low Back Pain from Western Sydney University on the topic of inflammatory mediating factors. She is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, with research interests in preventative health and wellbeing, and the translation from research to policy. Her current research projects include exercise for those with endometriosis, food insecurity, chronic pain, obesity and diabetes.
