Cristina Stewart

(She/Her)

I am an experienced, collaborative and skilled researcher focussed on sustainable diets. I have six years experience in nutrition, behaviour change, and dietary assessment. My current research explores how to make environmentally sustainable diets more realistic and convenient for people, through mixed-methods research.

I have extensive experience analysing nationally representative dietary surveys, particularly focussed on meat and dairy consumption trends and behaviours in Scottish and UK populations. A key component of my work has been undertaking comprehensive analyses of the Scottish Health Survey supporting net-zero policy legislation regarding meat and dairy consumption.

I'm also experienced in developing and testing behaviour change interventions to encourage more sustainable food choices in field trials and online behavioural studies.
