Connor is a quantitative macroecologist and conservation biologist whose research explores how human activities and environmental change shape wildlife ecology, movement, and mortality. He integrates GPS telemetry, large-scale biodiversity datasets, and novel digital data sources to understand species' responses to environmental change across broad spatial scales. His work also develops innovative methods for biodiversity monitoring, including the use of web-sourced photographs and videos, with a particular focus on birds of prey as model systems for ecology and conservation.
