Connor holds two positions with research centres at the University of British Columbia. His primary role is with the Centre for Climate Justice where he studies climate policy, legislative trends, and media discourse surrounding climate and environmental concerns. His second role is with the Centre for the Study of Democratic Institutions where his research focusses on how communication platforms and rhetoric influence the robustness and health of democratic structures in Canada. Prior to working in academic research, Connor acted as a public health communicator and analyst with national and international agencies.
