Dr. Conner S. Philson is the Executive Director of the UCSB Natural Reserve System (NRS), a network of seven field stations across California fostering research and education. Dr. Philson is also an evolutionary biologist and behavioral ecologist by training and is interested in how social relationships and the social groups we're apart of impact us as individuals. He as primarily studied these questions in wild populations of marmots and macaques.
