Colleta Gandidzanwa

Dr Gandidzanwa is a Researcher in Agricultural Economics in the Collaborative Centre on Economics of Agricultural R&D (UP ARC). She is a determined, energetic agricultural economist committed to excellence in research and development.
Her research focuses on food systems resilience, smallholder productivity, agricultural investments, and impact assessment. She has experience in investment analysis and research project management, and previously served as Programme Manager for ARUA-SFS, supporting collaborative food systems research across Africa.
She was a Structural Transformation of African Agriculture and Rural Spaces (STAARS) Fellow and a Tuks Young Research Leader Fellow, and received several awards from the Agricultural Economics Association of South Africa (AEASA).
Dr Gandidzanwa is particularly passionate about mentoring young women in agricultural economics and contributing to meaningful transformation within African agriculture and rural spaces. Continuous learning, collaboration, and impact-driven research are central to my work.
