Colette Southam

Colette Southam (PhD, MBA, BSc (Hons), GAICD) is an Associate Professor of Finance and Director of the Bond Business School Case Centre, Adjunct Associate Professor at the Ivey Business School, and an Adjunct Professor at One League. Colette's research focuses on international and corporate finance with specific interests in capital raising, ESG, sustainability, and real-options valuation of carbon projects. Colette chooses projects that will have a high impact on business and society and has published in top-tier international academic journals. Colette founded the Australian Business Case Network to enhance students’ decision-making skills and overcome impediments to case teaching in Australia. She is the recipient of multiple teaching awards, including Universities Australia Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning and Bond University Vice Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning through Sustained Innovation. For the past two decades, Colette has served her community on not-for-profit boards at the regional, national, and international levels.
