Claudia Martínez Sánchez

Claudia Martínez Sánchez graduated in Biotechnology from the University of Oviedo. She has pursued a Master’s in Biomedicine and Molecular Oncology and currently works as a researcher in the Cancer Epigenetics and Nanomedicine Laboratory (CINN-CSIC / ISPA-FINBA).

She completed an Erasmus+ research stay at the Aarhus University Hospital (Denmark) and has been awarded several competitive grants, including the CSIC JAE Intro Fellowship, the Laboratory Internship Grant from the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and multiple Fundación Botín Excellence Scholarships, as well as Fundación Caja Rural de Asturias fellowships. She also received the Award for the Best Academic Record of Biotechnology.

Her experience includes participation in national scientific conferences, poster presentations and awards in science communication, such as the First Prize at Biopechakucha. She is also a scientific volunteer for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), contributing to outreach activities and charity events.
