Claire Cunnington

Dr Claire Cunnington is a researcher based at the School of Sociological Studies, Politics and International Relations, University of Sheffield and is currently writing a popular history book about child criminal exploitation, Mrs Jeffries and the survivor/victims of 1885. Alongside Professor Caroline Derry, Open University, she is leading a project on 1885 and its long shadow: sexual offences in historical context. Claire is co-convenor of the British Sociological Association Global Histories and Sociology Study Group.
