Christy Hehir

I’m an environmental psychologist, conservationist, polar alien hunter and lecturer at the University of Surrey, UK. I examine the role polar tourism plays in (re)connecting people to nature and understanding the correlations between tourists’ experiences and their subsequent pro-environmental behaviour.
