Christophe Mallet

Titulaire d’un doctorat en morphologie fonctionnelle au Muséum national d’histoire naturelle à Paris, au sein de l’UMR MECADEV (Mécanismes Adaptatifs & évolution). Chef de travaux à l'Institut des Sciences Naturelles de Bruxelles et Assistant de Recherche au département Géologie Fondamentale et Appliquée de l'Université de Mons. Mon sujet de thèse a porté sur la morphologie des os longs de rhinocéros actuels et éteints, et leur évolution au cours du temps en rapport avec la masse corporelle, la taille ou encore l’écologie. Mes travaux de recherche portent sur l'évolution de la morphologie du squelette, et en particulier des os longs, chez différents groupes de vertébrés, en lien avec l'augmentation de la taille et de la masse corporelle.
