- Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychological Sciences, University of Tasmania
Christine Padgett is a senior lecturer at the School of Psychological Sciences. Her research interests broadly encompass clinical neuropsychology, behavioural genetics and cognition. One of her main areas of interest is traumatic brain injury, in particular brain injury caused by intimate partner violence. She has also explored how genes and demographic factors influence recovery after traumatic brain injury. Christine is also a chief investigator in the TALK-TBI project, which is aimed at better understanding, and raising, public awareness of traumatic brain injury. The project also explores the impact traumatic brain injury has on the person with the injury, and those close to them (e.g. carers).
