Christine Larson is an associate professor of journalism at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her most book, Love in the Time of Self-Publishing: How Romance Writers Changed the Rules of Writing and Success (Princeton, 2024) explores how romance writers formed unique supportive networks to pioneer self-publishing. Before completing her Ph.D. in Communication at Stanford, she worked as a freelance journalist and author for more than 15 years.
