Christine E. Bell, PhD, is a faculty member in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University. Her research focuses on feedback literacy and how students interpret and use feedback and its influence on learning, stress, and academic agency. She also explores the role of generative AI in teaching and learning, the role of ethics in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Canada, and strategies for embedding the UN Sustainable Development Goals into physiology education. Dr. Bell teaches in undergraduate physiology and pharmacology courses, medicine, and dentistry where she uses active learning and case-based approaches to help students connect biomedical science with real-world challenges.
