Christina Hennemann

Christina Hennemann is an award-winning poet and writer based in the West of Ireland. She's the author of the poetry collection Birthmark (Shearsman, 2025) and of three poetry chapbooks: Leafing, Witch/Womb, and Illuminations at Nightfall. She's a recipient of an Agility Award from Arts Council Ireland, a Mayo Artist Bursary, the Doyle Award for Creative Nonfiction, and a Diana Woods Memorial Award. Her work appears in Poetry Ireland, Poetry Wales, Southword, Anthropocene, Dust Poetry, and elsewhere. She has also translated German writers, such as Franz Kafka and Dana Ranga.
