- Hon. Visiting Fellow, University of York
I was awarded my doctorate on ‘Burial and Commemoration in Medieval London, c. 1140-1540’ by the University of London in 2013. I have published extensively on the written record of London’s lost tombs and I have a particular interest with commemoration in the mendicant houses of the city. More recently, I have identified the whereabouts of the grave for Katherine Plantagenet, the illegitimate daughter of Richard III, in the city of London.
I am currently Secretary of the Harlaxton Medieval Symposium and co-organiser (with David Harry, University of Chester) of the 2017 symposium 'Church and City in the Middle Ages' held in honour of Clive Burgess. The proceedings will be published in the summer of 2019.
I was elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries in 2015
