Christian Holscher’s expertise lies in the area of memory formation, electrophysiology and synaptic plasticity, Neuroanatomy and Neuropharmacology.

The main area of his research is in drug development, including a commonly prescribed diabetes drug that could reverse memory loss and the build up of plaques on the brain in Alzheimer's. It is currently in clinical trials.
