Christa Kuljian is a science writer and a historian of science. She is the author of Sanctuary (Jacana 2013), Darwin’s Hunch: Science, Race and the Search for Human Origins (Jacana 2016), and Our Science, Ourselves: How Gender, Race and Social Movements Shaped the Study of Science (University of Massachusetts Press 2024). Christa is a research associate at WiSER (Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research) at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
