Chris Jones

Chris Jones is the knowledge exchange fellow for the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research at the University of Manchester. In this role he applies research expertise from across the Tyndall Centre to meet research and policy needs of industry, local and national government, and civil society organisations.

Over the last five years he has led over 20 collaborative projects with local authority, shipping industry, healthcare, governmental department, faith group, live music and NGO partners.

Chris has a research background in life cycle environmental and techno-economic assessment of energy systems. His PhD looked at the potential for utilising waste heat from nuclear power stations for energy system decarbonisation.
