- PhD Candidate, Adelaide University
I began my postgraduate research degree in 2020 where I worked with professionals within the high performance sporting industry and university to conduct my research project. My project aimed to evaluate the nutritional adequacy of the diets of Australian Football League Women's athletes across preseason and competition season, particularly on match days. I had the opportunity to work with a professional AFL club women's team throughout their 2020/21 seasons. I have published two papers to academic journals based on my findings from this project.
I look to continue my research in sports nutrition over the coming years as I commence my doctoral research investigating the nutritional and mental health of adolescent and young adult athletes and their support persons.
