Chiara is a Senior Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Weather of the 21st Century and the Research School of Earth Sciences at the Australian National University. Chiara's research investigates the weather system processes that cause hydroclimatological extremes like droughts and floods and their impact on water availability, and explores how these processes are being shaped by climate change. Chiara was named as a 2022/2023 Superstar of STEM by Science and Technology Australia.
