Chiara De Gregorio

Dr. Chiara De Gregorio is a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick. She is a primatologist specializing in bioacoustics, and she focuses on how non-human primates communicate through vocalizations. Her main interest lies in primates that sing and duet, with model species including gibbons, indris, and titi monkeys. She has worked for several years in Madagascar studying the behavior and ecology of various lemur species, with a special focus on the singing indri lemurs, which were the subject of her doctoral thesis. Dr. De Gregorio has also carried out multiple fieldwork seasons in Madagascar, Ethiopia, and the Amazon, gaining extensive hands-on experience in diverse primate habitats.
