- Lecturer, Education and Professional Studies, Griffith University
Mr Chesley Cutler (BA Hons) is an early-career academic and research assistant. Born in the UK to Irish and Lebanese-Australian parents, they are a settler in Australia working within an Indigenous-led, multicultural research team on projects advancing Indigenous education, student voice, and cultural resurgence. Chesley's praxis is informed by a long-standing commitment to labour activism, student advocacy, Indigenous rights, gender equity, and LGBTQIA+ justice. Drawing on lived experience and community organising, they adopt a decolonial allyship and solidarity framework that foregrounds relational accountability and structural critique.
