Since January 2026, Chau Le has been an Associate Professor in Finance at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia. Prior to this appointment, she served as Senior Lecturer in Banking and Finance at the University of Lincoln, and has previously held academic positions in the UK and Vietnam. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Birmingham and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Her research lies at the intersection of financial economics, sustainable finance, and banking, with a strong emphasis on policy relevance. Her work has been published in Journal of Financial Stability, International Business Review, Small Business Economics, International Journal of Finance & Economics, Journal of Environmental Management, Applied Economics, and Empirical Economics. Chau regularly presents her research at international conferences and central-bank-focused workshops, and has led externally funded projects supported by the British Academy, NAFOSTED, and the State Bank of Vietnam. Her teaching spans corporate finance, portfolio management, and contemporary issues in banking, underpinned by a strong commitment to student-centred, research-informed learning and the integration of real-world data and applied analytical tools.
