Charlie Rioux

Dr. Charlie Rioux is an assistant professor at the Department of Interdisciplinary Human Sciences and affiliated faculty in Women's and Gender Studies as well as Human Development & Family Sciences at Texas Tech University.

Her interdisciplinary research program focuses on the prevention of psychopathology through developmental science examining malleable risk and protection factors throughout pregnancy, childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood. She also does research on scientific methodology, including quantitative statistical methods and scientific communication.

Dr. Rioux received her doctoral degree in psychology from Université de Montréal and completed 3 years of postdoctoral training in developmental methodology at Texas Tech University as well as one year of postdoctoral training in clinical and developmental psychology at the University of Manitoba and the University of Calgary.
