Charles Oliver Morton

I am a senior lecturer in medical microbiology at Western Sydney University. I specialise in the study of fungi, mycology, and have an interest in fungal pathogens of humans. Much of myself research has focused on the diagnosis of a fungal disease called invasive aspergillosis, this is a serious health threat in immunocompromised individuals especially transplant patients. Along with diagnosis I study how the fungus causes infection and at the development of antifungal treatments.
