Catie Gressier

Catie Gressier is an Adjunct Research Fellow in the School of Agriculture and Environment at the University of Western Australia, a European Research Council funded researcher through the Department of Anthropology and Ethnology at Uppsala University, and a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at Curtin University. A cultural anthropologist with a regional focus on Australia and southern Africa, she has published on issues spanning food production and consumption, interspecies relations, tourism, and health and illness. She is the Coordinator of the Ecology People Place (EcoPeoPle) research network, and an Editorial Board Member of Anthropological Forum.
