A/Prof Catherine Granger is an Associate Professor and Dame Kate Campbell Fellow in the Department of Physiotherapy, The University of Melbourne in Australia. She is also the Head of Physiotherapy Research at The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia.

A/Prof Granger completed her PhD and post-docs in the area of physical activity and exercise training for people with lung cancer. She currently has an active research program focused on the areas of exercise training, physical activity and rehabilitation for chronic disease patient populations including cancer, critical care and respiratory disease. She has published over 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals on these topics. She also supervises a number of PhD students. A/Prof Granger was the 2017 Victorian Young Tall Poppy Scientist of the Year; and named as one of the ABC's Top 5 Scientists for 2018. In 2019 she was awarded one of the inaugural University of Melbourne's Dame Kate Campbell Fellowships (Dean’s Fellowships for Research Excellence).

A/Prof Granger's clinical background is as a physiotherapist working in predominately in the areas of critical care, thoracic surgery and lung cancer in a number of major Melbourne based hospitals in Australia.
