Catherine Grant researches the links between cultural sustainability and matters of social justice. Her second book "Sounding Good: Advancing Cultural Sustainability and Social Justice through Music"—written in collaboration with creative practitioners around the world—was published by Oxford University Press in late 2025. Catherine leads an international research team in a Worldwide Universities Network project that explores how people can best be supported to maintain cultural practices in contexts of forced displacement.
